Danielle Walkden, Head Chef/Kitchen Manager

Danielle Walkden is the head chef at the Appel Farm Arts & Music Campus. Danielle has over 10 years’ experience in the kitchen and over 14 years in senior care. She is one of our partnered team members, which means she is employed by Appel Farm, but works directly with Meals on Wheels.

Danielle says that it is important to her to provide something meaningful for those who need it most. Every hot meal that goes out, goes out with love and care, and as if she is tending to her own family. Danielle takes great pride in not only those she helps, but pride in the person she has become from helping others.
