Thank you to Dottie for helping us to deliver more than just a meal! Dottie had been working with our Volunteer Coordinator, Teresa, in the past and so, when Teresa began working for Meals on Wheels, Dottie was happy to volunteer for her and for the organization. Dottie enjoys being able to help us out in the office in order to free up our time for other important work. She knows how important it is to get nutritious, home-delivered meals to our clients in Salem County as well as how important it is to keep everything organized! She is always willing to help us out with any office tasks that we have each week and especially enjoys helping in putting together our Christmas gift bags for the clients. Before retiring and volunteering, Dottie worked as a home health care nurse so she knows first-hand how important these meals are to so many people. She has seen the impact that Meals on Wheels has on the clients, their families, and the volunteers who deliver the meals! We are so grateful for our office volunteers, like Dottie, that help keep everything running smoothly!
