  1. What made you start volunteering for Meals on Wheels?

I have had an interest in volunteering for Meals on Wheels and when covid hit and I began homeschooling my 3 children, I knew it was the perfect opportunity.

  1. Why is volunteering for Meals on Wheels important to you?

Volunteering gives me happiness and satisfaction. I want my children to see the positive impact volunteering has on others and why it is important to do things out of the kindness of our hearts.

  1. Do you have any fun stories/significant memories about meal delivery that you would like to share with us?

My children talk about the clients we delivered to, and each one of my children has a “favorite.” The clients smiles get bigger when they see my 3 children as well.

  1. Is there anything about yourself personally that you would like to share?

I love volunteering for Meals on Wheels and only wish I had started sooner. It is a great organization to work with!
