“Having lost my husband over 20 years ago, I joined a widowed person’s support group and eventually became a volunteer and helped start a new group. In doing so, I discovered that helping others was very rewarding and also helped me with my grieving. Delivering meals and making wellness calls is also very rewarding knowing that I am helping those in need.”
Vicki is a retired legal/administrative secretary and in her spare time, she enjoys crocheting blankets hats, scarves, prayer shawls, etc. for shelters, veterans, hospitals and Cornerstone.
