Every day, our volunteers deliver more than just meals — they deliver compassion, connection, and care to homebound seniors right here in Salem County. With over 150 clients currently receiving meals and more than 250 dedicated volunteers, we’re proud to be serving more people than ever before.
Our kitchen prepares scratch-made, medically tailored meals that meet each client’s nutritional needs — because everyone deserves food that’s both nourishing and made with care. But as our program continues to grow, we need new volunteers to help us reach every senior who depends on us.
Volunteer Opportunities
Delivery Drivers – Spend just 2 hours every 4 weeks delivering meals along a simple route. You’ll bring nutritious food and a friendly smile to neighbors who look forward to that knock on the door. Drivers use their own vehicles, and all routes and instructions are provided.
Packaging Help – Prefer to stay behind the scenes? Join our kitchen team to package meals from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. You can volunteer on any day that fits your schedule — even once a week or once in a while. It’s a meaningful way to spend your morning alongside friendly faces.
Whether you’re retired, a student, working full-time, or simply looking for a way to give back, there’s a place for you at Meals on Wheels of Salem County.
